Archie's Frame

A fun frame, easy to do and very adaptable.

You will need:
Corel PSP {any version}
Filters Factory Q

Open your image and resize the longest side to 450.
Choose a dark and light colour from your image.

Add border size "2" symmetric checked, with your light colour.
Repeat border using your dark colour.
Add border size "40" with your light colour.

Select this "40" border with your magic wand.
Effects>plugins>Filters Factory Q> Archie's Spiral.
Playtime.

Move the top 3 boxes until you have an image you like. Preferably not too much of one gradient and
an interesting corner appearing on the other side of your frame.
As a guide, I used these settings for the picture above, but please have fun and play!!

Magic Wand settings : RGB Value, Tolerance 25, Feather O

Select a gradient with your magic wand. And a small selection from the other side of the picture.
By varying your tolerance, you can pick up more or less than a gradient.

Add inner bevel
Width 2, Smoothness 40, Depth 2, Ambience 5, Shininess 10, Angle 315, Intensity 63, Elevation 2O, colour white
Deselect

Here is my selection for the second colour.

As you can see a third colour is needed to fill the darker areas.
This image is different to the one above, no two frames are alike.
Once you have selected all the areas and added the bevels,
Add border size "2" symmetric checked, with your dark colour.

some more examples, resized for demo purposes.
