Fractal Masked Tag


You will need
Corel PSP
Fractal Mask by Essex Girl. Please visit her wonderful site.
A tube of your choice. I used the artwork of Jody Bergsma.
Accents
I don't know who created these accents, if you do please let me know so I can give proper credit
The tube, mask and accents can be downloaded here.

Let's Begin!
1. Open your tube and choose a light and dark colour as your foreground and background.
2. Open a new image 400*400 and fill with a much lighter shade of your light foreground.
3. New layer. Using your foreground/background create a gradient with the following settings
Angle 0, Repeats 3, Style Sunburst.
4. fill your image with this gradient.
5. Apply sg_fractal01 mask. Check, Source Luminance, Fit to Layer and Show all mask.
6. Merge Group.
7. Duplicate layer and mirror. Close off your background layer and merge visible.
8. Duplicate merged layer and flip.

9. You should know have something like the image above.

If you leave it with just the mirrored images you get this - your choice!
10. Edit, copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Resize if necessary.
11. Using your tube as a guide, place the accents of your choice around the tube, some of them slightly behind.
12. Merge accent layers.

13. Add Inner Bevel

14. Add drop shadow, V 1, H O, Opacity 80, Blur 2

15. Going to your tube layer which should be your top layer, duplicate.
16. On the original tube layer Effects > Textures > Antique Mosaic
No. of Columns and Rows 100.
Tile Diffusion 70
Grout Width 4
Grout Diffusion 50

17 Add your text. I used Symbol Text. Size 48, stroke 2, colours of your choice.
18 Add same inner bevel and drop shadow to text.
19 Images > add border, symmetric checked 2, your dark colour.
