FUN WITH FRAMES

You will need.
Corel PSP
Simple Filters (optional)
Filters Unlimited (or another filter of your choice.)

This tutorial gives you an idea in how to create your very own unique frame.
Open your image in PSP and make sure it is square. The template is made to fit a 400*400 square,
but you can resize it to your requirements.

Minimise your image.
Open your frame template and fill with your choice.
With your magic wand select the white and fill.
I used a gradient and first filled with white, new layer then with the gradient and Adjust Blur, 5.
this tutorial is your fun, so play around!
Change your background colour to one in your image.
Plugins >Filter Factory H > Sun Raze > Ray Length 186 > Spikes 66
Again, experiment with other filters, colours etc.
Once you are happy with your "corner"
Open a new image 400*400 and paste your corner. Move to the top left corner of your new image.
Now
duplicate flip,
duplicate mirror,
duplicate flip.
Make sure your 4 corners join smoothly.

Add an inner bevel. I used this one, but again, it is up to you.
Bevel round
Width 10
Smoothness 40
Depth 5
Ambience 25
Shininess 15
Color White
Angle 315
Intensity 50
Elevation 25
Restore your chosen image to frame,
On your frame layer select with your magic wand all the blank areas.
Edit Copy
New Layer
Edit Paste into selection.
Ensure this layer is below your frame layer.
Keep selected.
Select > Float
Effects 3d effects > Cutout

Settings V&H 2, Opacity 75 and blur 5. color black
Repeat changing just V&H to -2.
Select none.
