Scrap Flowers

Create your own flowers to use in scrapbooking.
You will need
Mura's Meister Copies.
Rope Texture
Open a new image 500*500
Draw guidelines at 100 and 250
You can experiment using different patterns and colours. I used a rope texture (supplied) for this particular flower.
Foreground #c9b389
Background rope texture, Angles O, Scale 10
Open preset tools, oval, line width one. and draw a petal shape oval that is from the top to the bottom
of your guidelines, width is your choice.

Select all > Select Float.
Using your smudge brush set at 75 smear the rope effect so it gives just a mottled effect.
Then lighten the top of your petal and darken the bottom.
Light/Darken settings
You should end up with something like this
Merge all layers.
Centre the petal on the layer
Effects>Plugins>Mura's Meister Copies
at the following settings
You should have a similar flower shape to the one above.
Add drop shadow Vertical 1, Horizontal 0, Opacity 80 Blur 1
Duplicate layer.
Adjust Brightness/Contrast
Brightness= -63
Contrast = -19
Image>Rotate>Free Rotate>Right 20 degrees.
Duplicate image
resize this layer only by 85%
Return to first layer of lighter petals.
Duplicate this layer
Image>Rotate>Free Rotate>Right 20 degrees.
resize this layer only by 85%

Finally, draw an oval for the centre of the flower using the same colours/patterns
you
used for the initial oval. smudge a litte as before.
Add inner bevel at the following settings
